The 8 Count

While growing up as a young lad in California’s Bay Area my love for the sweet science bloomed as I witnessed Mike Tyson’s destruction of able bodied men inside the squared circle.

After discovering that I had passion for writing that was equal to my love of the sweet science I decided to take the ambitious task of trying to break into the world of boxing journalism. 

I cut my teeth when saddoboxing opted to give me a shot.  Since then I have written for a couple of sites including Boxingtribune.com, pound4pound.com, as well as the sweetscience.com.  Currently I cover boxing for Fighhype.com as continue my journey in life as a internet boxing scribe.

My goal is to use this blog as a forum to share news and opinions on a myriad of boxing topics from both the professional and amateurs ranks.
